About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Engineer to join our Yorkshire & Humber Region team as a Senior Traffic Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality traffic engineering projects for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement traffic engineering solutions for our clients, ensuring compliance with relevant design standards and guidance documents.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical expertise to support their projects.
  • Lead and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends in traffic engineering.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in traffic engineering, with a strong understanding of TSRGD 2016, TSM chapters, LTN1/20, LTN1/24, and other relevant design standards and guidance documents.
  • Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD and associated design packages.
  • Experience in using collision data systems and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of Traffic Regulation Order processes and ability to prepare technical reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • UK experience within a public, private, or third sector UK-based client.
Desirable Qualifications
  • HND, HNC, BEng, MEng, or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • A full UK driving license.
