Traffic Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Engineer to join our Transport and Traffic Consultancy in London. The successful candidate will work alongside a Public sector client on an ongoing framework for Parking Schemes, with opportunities to progress into working with the Traffic Engineering team and Private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct feasibility studies, initial and detailed designs for parking and traffic management schemes
  • Prepare estimates, including evaluation, costing, and working to pre-defined budgets
  • Communicate effectively in written and oral form with clients and stakeholders
  • Manage capital and revenue projects, including budget lines and traffic management orders
  • Draft and process Traffic Management orders, and install disabled bay applications

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Traffic Engineering Design, including parking and CPZ schemes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and ParkMap software
  • Previous experience working with local authorities

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 Per Annum

Sector: Transport Infrastructure, Civil & Structural Engineering
