The Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Fellow to drive innovative research in the field of eye growth, vision, and myopia. This role will involve working with a diverse team of scientists and engineers to design, execute, and analyze clinical trials, as well as develop and optimize diagnostic medical devices. The successful candidate will have a strong background in optometry, research, and clinical experience, with a passion for ocular research and a keen interest in developing clinical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute clinical trials, including project planning, data collection, and analysis
  • Develop and optimize diagnostic medical devices, including ocular imaging and data analysis
  • Collaborate with the research team to identify and recruit study participants, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare and submit research ethics applications, as well as manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals
  • Present research findings at international conferences and contribute to the development of new research projects

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in optometry or a related field
  • Strong background in research, clinical experience, and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to research integrity and patient safety
