We are recruiting a ROV Tooling Specialist to work alongside some of the biggest brands in the Energy Sector. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to refine your existing Mechanical/Hydraulic skills and apply them to ROV tooling and Manipulator systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strip, inspect and evaluate subsea hydraulic and mechanical systems such as ROB tools and rate-controlled manipulator systems.
  • Conduct repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance tasks on hydraulic and mechanical equipment, ensuring adherence to company standards and specifications.
  • Produce thorough assessment reports, including photographs, fault identification and recommended repair actions.
  • Prepare accurate cost quotations for repairs based on assessments.
  • Ensure parts and consumables are available and track usage for efficient workshop operations.
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship, following company and industry quality protocols.
  • Provide support during equipment testing or mobilisation at client sites, as required.
  • Responsible for good workshop and office housekeeping.
  • Excellent awareness of H+S within a workshop/office environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with Mechanical and hydraulic equipment essential.
  • Time Served Mechanical/Hydraulic Technician.
  • Knowledge/experience of ROV tooling and rate-controlled manipulator systems desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of computing tasks to create engineering reports and costs.
  • Full UK driving licence desirable.
  • Ability to work in a customer-facing role, maintaining a professional image at all times.
  • Comfortable working as part of a small, tight-knit team.
