About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stock management and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain knowledge of equipment and select it from stock for delivery, with the support of senior drivers and warehouse supervisors.
  • Develop skills for handling equipment, including manual handling processes and risk assessments to ensure your safety and wellbeing.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and staff when preparing equipment, and liaise with Warehouse Supervisors as needed.
  • Quality check work prior to transferring equipment to the main warehouse.
  • Clean returned equipment, maintain a clean and safe warehouse, and undertake duties associated with stock maintenance.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures in line with Infection Prevention and Control, COSHH, Health and Safety, and Manual Handling guidelines.
