SEN Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated SEN Support Assistant to join our team on a term-time only basis. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all students, developing individualized plans to meet their needs, and providing emotional support to promote positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized plans to support children with SEN

- Provide emotional support and promote positive relationships with students and staff
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a passion for working with children with complex needs, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Working ArrangementsThis is a term-time only position, with 40 hours per week worked during school term times only. The salary for this role is £21,000 per annum, making it an attractive option for those looking for a fulfilling career in education.
LocationThe role is based in Midge Hall, Preston, making it easily accessible by car or public transport.
The salary range for this role is estimated to be between £20,800 and £22,400 per annum, depending on experience.
