Next-Ventures, a leading UK-based telecommunications company, is seeking an experienced Radio performance and design engineer to join its project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and coverage of radio access networks during the rollout and integration phases.

The role involves designing, planning, and optimizing radio networks to meet the required quality standards. Key responsibilities include performing radio network optimization tasks such as tuning, capacity planning, and parameter adjustment, working closely with the project team to support the integration and testing of new sites, identifying and resolving network issues related to radio performance, interference, coverage gaps, and handover failures, and ensuring all sites meet the necessary quality standards before they are handed over to the operations team.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in radio network optimization within a roll-out or deployment project.
  • Experience with advanced optimization techniques for 5G networks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Ericsson is desirable.

This role offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
