Job Title: Experienced Teaching Assistant for SEN Students

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to work with students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in working with students who have encountered challenges in mainstream settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work appropriately and effectively with individual students
  • Promote social and emotional development
  • Respond calmly and effectively to display behaviours

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with young people with special educational needs and disability
  • Good working knowledge of Safeguarding and Health and Safety
  • Experience or Knowledge of National Curriculum subjects
  • A Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to gain one (training available)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
