Clinical Assessor

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Assessor to join our team. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.
You will draw on your clinical expertise to listen carefully to each person's medical history, perform physical examinations, and produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to determine their eligibility for benefits.
The role involves meeting people both face-to-face and via telephone/video, requiring sensitivity, compassion, and the ability to ask the right questions while upholding best practice standards.
About You- An NMC Level 1 Registered Adult Nurse with a minimum of 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years.
- Experience of working with adults in a range of clinical situations, including surgical, medical, A&E, community, and practice nursing.
- NMC-registered with Continuous Professional Development on your CV.
- IT skills and experience of using a range of software.
- Self-aware and focused on professional development.
- Motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect, and sensitivity in assessment delivery.
