Job Title: Principal Engineer - Systems Engineering (Model Based Architecture)

Job Summary:

  • Lead the design and maintenance of complex technical systems, ensuring optimal performance in constrained environments.
  • Develop and implement SysML views to capture interactions between complex systems, driving customer success.
  • Support the full utilisation and development of model-based systems engineering artifacts across a portfolio of products.
  • Expand, elaborate, and own key system design elements and associated systems engineering products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system functions, requirements, and design elements.
  • Decompose complex designs into understandable components for further elaboration and development.
  • Support the execution of the full project lifecycle, from planning to operational readiness.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Degree or equivalent within a STEM field.
  • Strong familiarity with SysML and experience with Model-Based System Engineering toolsets such as Enterprise Architect.
  • Firm understanding of Systems Engineering and Systems thinking.
  • Familiarity with the Engineering System Lifecycle and its related processes (specifically processes mentioned ISO/IEC 15288).
