We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead to join our team at KPIT Technologies Ltd. in Coventry. As a Senior Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of hardware and software integration for Domain Controllers and Driver-Facing Camera ECUs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Device Verification Plan for Testing the Vehicle/Sub-system/System requirements.
  • Define and Review of HIL Test cases.
  • Be responsible for Software flashing, Data Logging, Production and Dealership Tools in Sub-System and System Team.
  • Conduct Software smoke testing in Bench and Vehicle testing of ADAS features.
  • Develop and Understand the Specification requirement document (System Level) and Sub-System Specification requirement document (Component Level).
  • Design and define the Requirement of BSW Software for Diagnostics and Degradation of application.
  • Support the Software delivery to various stakeholders.
  • Develop and understand the software architecture (SAD, State machine, Use Case, Activity Diagram), incorporating Regulatory requirements, HARA concepts for ISO 26262.
  • Define the Requirements for diagnostics monitor, routines, services, DID and DTCs for Base Level Software design.
  • Responsible for Technical Concepts of Component level Cyber Security compliances, design standards, Cyber hygiene and TARA.
  • Manage Software, Vehicle issue analysis, production and customer issues and support the technical implementation for mitigation plans.
  • Frame the End of Line, 8-D reports, Ishikawa diagram (Fish-Bone) diagrams, Value for Money documents.
  • Support the GPO/Chapter Lead/PO/Lead engineers for all technical aspects of the Component and Vehicle Integration.
Requirements:
  • Over 8 years of experience in the automotive industry, specializing in hardware and software integration for Domain Controllers and Driver-Facing Camera ECUs.
  • Knowledge of L3, L4, VITAL Rigs and Labcar Test environments.
  • Knowledge of Software Design Standards with supplier (e.g. CAN Tp (ISO, DoIP, Manufacturing specs, Signed Software Download, Bootloader standards).
  • Complete knowledge of production plant process during vehicle manufacturing stages.
  • Experience in development of Sub-system requirement for ADAS Feature and Driver Distraction systems.
  • Experience in test environments such as bench rigs and simulation environments.
  • Knowledge in automation Tool for testing and productivity improvements.
  • Experience with JIRA and Xray.
  • V&V/Testing Experience.
Good to have:
  • Class 2, Class 3 UK Driving License for Vehicle Testing.
