Key Responsibilities- Proactively contact brokers to ensure timely payments and prevent overdue debt
- Effectively collect outstanding payments from clients, adhering to company credit policies
- Liaise with the legal department to resolve debt disputes and enforce payment commitments
- Generate weekly financial reports to track debt collection progress
- Provide training and guidance to junior credit controllers as needed
- Manage and develop a team of credit controllers to optimize debt recovery
- Previous experience in debt collection, preferably in a sales organization with international scope
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to influence both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership and team management abilities to drive results and motivate team members
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial transactions and reporting
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of productivity
