SHEQ Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced SHEQ Manager to lead the Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) function at our key FMCG supply chain site in North to East London area. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee site SHEQ functions, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise the site leadership team on all SHEQ matters, operational and strategic.
  • Partner with Engineering, Supply, and Transport teams on SHEQ-related matters to drive a standard approach to safety.
  • Support the launch and implementation of corporate group project initiatives, ensuring operational sites are compliant with SHEQ policies and procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Health & Safety, Environment, and Quality policies in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct audits, incident investigations, and manage risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Develop training programs, strategies, and processes to improve Health & Safety, Environment, Quality, and Corporate responsibility performance.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, with experience in high-risk industry environments, ideally complex and time-sensitive FMCG.
  • Grad member of IOSH.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven track record in SHEQ management within a fast-paced setting.
  • Internal auditor experience is a plus.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, operationally challenging environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of Logistics/Distribution/FMCG/Manufacturing sector, including familiarity with materials handling equipment (MHE).
