Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team at Omega Leeds. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and implement technical improvements to electrical or mechanical maintenance processes.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to deliver and develop the asset maintenance strategy.
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure maximum process efficiency.
- Monitor plant efficiency, reliability, and capability of all plant and equipment; identify areas of under-performance or opportunity and implement plans to deliver improvement projects.
- Use the maintenance system to ensure agreed maintenance/improvement work is completed.
- Recommend and implement electrical changes to machine operation and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Apprentice-trained Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with equivalent HNC/NVQ Level 3 minimum qualifications and experience in a fast-paced manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Experience in Food, FMCG, Chemicals, Pharma, or a fast-moving manufacturing environment such as automotive is ideal; however, qualified engineers will be considered as full support and training is given.
