Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our school community as a Lunchtime Supervisor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting the welfare and safety of our pupils during lunchtimes.

In this rewarding position, you will work closely with our staff to ensure that our children have a positive and enjoyable experience during their breaks. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising pupils, motivating them to make healthy choices, and supporting them in developing social skills.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to think on your feet, and demonstrate a strong commitment to child safeguarding.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide a safe and supportive environment for our pupils, ensuring that they feel happy, secure, and motivated throughout their school day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise pupils during lunchtimes to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Motivate pupils to make healthy food choices and promote a positive eating environment
  • Support pupils in developing social skills, such as sharing, taking turns, and cooperating with others
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a consistent approach to child safeguarding
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role
  • Ability to speak fluent English is essential
Estimated Salary Range:

£12,000 - £15,000 per annum (pro rata), dependent on experience
