About the RoleAs a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, you will work with adults on an individual face-to-face basis or through facilitating therapeutic groups. You will assess service users' suitability for evidence-based psychological interventions and deliver a wide range of Cognitive Behavioural therapy-based interventions to those presenting with mild to moderate depression and anxiety.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment and low-intensity interventions, including guided self-help, CBT, and group work.
- Undertake patient-centred interviews to identify areas where individuals wish to see change and assess risk to self and others.
- Assess and support prisoners with common mental health problems in the self-management of their recovery.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained in the delivery of the service.
- Training opportunities and career development.
- Season Ticket Loan Scheme.

- 25 days (rising to 30 with length of service) Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays.
- Contributory Pension Scheme – Employer matched contributions of up to 6% in the first two years' service and up to 9% thereafter.

- Critical Illness Insurance (subject to qualifying criteria).
We are looking for a qualified or soon to be qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with experience of undertaking CBT assessments and delivering CBT and low-intensity interventions. You should be flexible to work with service users to meet their needs and have experience of working with people with mental health difficulties and those in primary care.
