Job Title: Sales Assistant

We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team at Dunelm in Salisbury. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and supporting the sales team to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience.
  • Support the sales team in achieving sales targets, including maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and returns.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling customer transactions.
