**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Maths and Science Teacher to join our Upper School team. As a specialist in both subjects, you will be responsible for delivering AQA GCSE Maths and the Natural Sciences element of the Crossfields Diploma. You will work with students aged 14-16, providing a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity and creativity.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Deliver and teach AQA GCSE Maths Foundation/Higher, including revision sessions and techniques ahead of examinations
  • Develop confidence in maths through a variety of teaching techniques
  • Set regular homework to aid student learning
  • Help students achieve their full potential in Foundation or Higher maths
  • Undertake appropriate preparation through knowledge of the GCSE syllabus, study/learning techniques to ensure high quality delivery which meets the full curriculum requirements
  • Deliver and teach the Natural Sciences element of the Crossfields Diploma, ensuring specific tasks are set according to student ability
  • Teach students to understand natural sciences in a historical, developmental and contemporary context
