Job Title: Histopathology Support Technician

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual to fill the role of Histopathology Support Technician. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting our Histopathologists and Biomedical Scientists in their daily tasks, ensuring the efficient processing of specimens and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Histopathologists and Biomedical Scientists with specimen processing
  • Prepare chemical and dye solutions as required
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is in good working order
  • Record specimen details and store them securely

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • GCSE passes in Maths, English, and Science or equivalent
  • An interest in pathology and laboratory procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
