About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS Rapid Response team in Slough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health assessments and short-term interventions to young people experiencing mental health crises.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive psychosocial crisis assessments for young people who have presented in crisis.
- Offer short-term intervention to stabilise the crisis, including follow-up appointments and multi-agency consultation-liaison.
- Identify ongoing care plan needs for young people and their families, ensuring they are referred to appropriate services.
- Maintain and develop key relationships with professionals external to the area of service, as well as patients and their families.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of clinical record keeping and ensure all systems, records, and data are stored and transferred correctly.
