The RoleWe are seeking an ambitious property professional looking to take their career to the next level or a prop-tech sales expert eager for a new challenge. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for acquiring and onboarding new letting agents to our innovative bills-included student portal that is disrupting the student lettings market. In your first year, you will have guaranteed commission, while in year two, your on-target earnings could reach £40-50k. With uncapped commission, the possibilities are endless for those driven to succeed.
You will report to our Head of Sales and Senior Business Development Executive, who will provide mentorship, training, and support to ensure your success. Our office is based in central Sheffield, and you will be required to travel to client visits around the UK. A driving licence and car for work purposes are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain your own leads and client base, building strong relationships with clients.
- Report and deliver KPIs to the SBDE and Head of Sales.
- Support marketing and technology activities.
- Field sales – national.
- Maintain high standards of account data in our CRM (Salesforce).
- Adhere to efficient and effective methods of working, ensuring company standards and processes are always followed.
- Minimum 2 years of Business Development or sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to analyze market and industry trends to support lead generation.
- Commercial awareness.
- Professional and courteous at all times with staff and clients.
