About Our Team

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will contribute to our financial operations by processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and communicating with suppliers. We seek a skilled professional with a proactive approach to resolving issues and ensuring smooth account management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Processing: Review, code, and input supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconciliation: Investigate and resolve discrepancies in supplier statements, ensuring accurate records.
  • Supplier Communication: Handle supplier inquiries professionally, providing clear information on invoices, payments, and account status.
  • Expense Claims: Review and process employee expense claims, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Compliance: Verify that all invoices and payments comply with our approval process and regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, supplying relevant documentation and explanations.

Requirements
  • Previous Experience: 1+ years of experience in an AP role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Accounting Software: Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks).
  • Analytical Skills: High accuracy in data entry and issue resolution.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Proactive approach to resolving issues and ensuring smooth account management.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, plus benefits including enhanced holiday pay, pension, life assurance, and more. Located in or near Oxford, this role offers the chance to work in the UK with flexibility to travel as required.
