We are currently recruiting for an experienced professional to provide high-quality, responsive, learner-centered services to students by developing and delivering impartial careers information, advice, and guidance to support learners across our College campuses.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree or equivalent professional careers-related qualification; they must also possess strong interpersonal and effective communication skills to advise and guide students successfully. Successful applicants who hold a Level 4 qualification will be on a fixed-term contract for 12 months to allow completion of the Level 6 Qualification.

Essential Requirements:
  • Educated to Degree Level or have an equivalent professional careers-related qualification (minimum Level 6)
  • Prior relevant experience, including promoting equality of opportunity for students from diverse backgrounds, is essential to this post.
  • Continuous updating of skills and knowledge of current priorities, including the Gatsby Standards
  • Experience working as UCAS coordinator with various applicants in an educational establishment
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience of careers guidance, including involvement with FE learners
  • Developing and delivering learner-focused interactive group sessions
  • Thorough knowledge of Student Finance and 19+ Advanced Learning Loans

Mandatory DBS certification or update service membership is required.
