Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dairy Farm Manager to join our progressive and forward-thinking business. The successful candidate will have a strong background in dairy farming and be able to lead the herd management team to optimise health and welfare.
The farm is home to 430 crossbred cows and youngstock on a neighbouring unit. We are looking for a standout individual who can work closely with the team to achieve efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement herd management plans to improve health and welfare
- Work closely with the team to ensure efficient and productive farming practices
- Maintain accurate records and reports of herd performance
Requirements:
- Practical dairy farming experience
- Computer literate with ability to learn new software
- Uniform training provided as required
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
