Real Success Ltd is a family-owned grazing farm covering 400 acres with 350 Autumn-calved cows milked twice a day through a 32-point rotary parlour. We have undergone a conversion towards regenerative and sustainable farming practices.

Salary

A competitive salary depending on experience, estimated to be around £30,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Job Description

As an experienced Herdsperson, you will be responsible for daily herd management, ensuring animal welfare, liaising with experts, and maintaining the farm's overall tidiness and safety. Your role will involve managing the herd, prioritizing animal welfare, liaising with vets, nutritionists, and consultants, keeping the farm tidy and safe to operate, performing general stockperson and yard work, and maintaining farm equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 years of dairy farming experience, especially in milking
  • High-quality organisational skills and attention to detail
