Diagnostic Molecular Technologist

Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Molecular Technologist to join our team at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will perform a broad spectrum of diagnostic tests, supervise staff, and maintain registration with the AHCS or HCPC.
Main Duties:
- Perform diagnostic tests using molecular or culture laboratory methods.
- Supervise and train other staff members in laboratory procedures.
- Maintain quality assurance and quality control measures.
- Analyze scientific data and communicate results effectively.
Requirements:
- BSc degree in a relevant Biological Science or equivalent qualifications.
- Registration with the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Salary Range:£25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
