Vascular Technologist Job Description:

Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic Imaging: Perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including stress tests, cardiac ultrasounds, and vascular testing.
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of patients throughout their stay in the vascular lab.
  • Image Quality: Evaluate images for technical accuracy and quality, and release completed examinations to the reading physician.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education and Certification: High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Registered Vascular Technologist RVT or RVS preferred.
