Job Title: Health and Safety and Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety and Facilities Manager to join our team at AD WARRIOR. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, visitors, and contractors, while also managing our facilities and maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate them.
  • Manage and coordinate facilities maintenance and repairs, including scheduling and supervising contractors.
  • Oversee the management of security, personnel, equipment, and monitoring systems.
  • Develop and implement energy-efficient and cost-saving initiatives to reduce facility running costs.
  • Project manage or oversee building projects, repairs, and new installations to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and monitor contractors and delivery of services against agreed standards (SLA's) and take action to improve as required.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in health and safety.
  • Experience of facilities support, including lighting, heating, security, plumbing, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience of Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines.
  • Proven background in successfully managing facilities in similar manufacturing businesses.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as required.
