Job Summary

Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre (BHOC) is a modern, well-equipped facility in the heart of historic Bristol.

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Technologist to join our Radiotherapy Treatment Planning team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a wide range of treatment planning experience and will be responsible for producing and checking highly complex IMRT, VMAT, SABR, and other radiotherapy treatment plans, including Gamma Knife treatments.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Producing and checking highly complex IMRT, VMAT, SABR, and other radiotherapy treatment plans
  • Assisting in radiotherapy equipment dosimetry and quality control
  • Working with other clinical technologists and clinical scientists within the radiotherapy physics unit
  • Collaborating with Clinical Engineers, Radiographers, Clinical Oncologists, and Specialist Registrars to enable the provision of safe and effective radiotherapy for our patients
