We are seeking an experienced Clinical Technologist to lead our team of technologists and apprentice technologists within Radiation Science Services at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, managing, or mentoring staff, and will have experience in organizing and participating in radiation protection and quality assurance measurements on radiographic and fluoroscopic x-ray equipment.

Key responsibilities will include acting as an operator under the definitions of the IR(ME)R regulations, line-managing named Clinical Technologists, and participating in the measurement and assessment of patient, staff, and environmental radiation doses.

The post holder will be expected to have excellent communication and leadership skills, and will be responsible for training and supervising trainee clinical scientists and technologists.
