Job Title: Cybersecurity Governance Lead

Description:

This role requires an experienced individual to lead our cybersecurity governance efforts.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating the scope and potential impacts of proposed changes to technology systems.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments for tech-specific areas like cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, data management, software development, and incident response.
  • Developing mitigation plans for identified risks, working with technical and business teams to develop strategies that minimize the risk's impact.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology control frameworks and industry guidance such as COBIT, NIST, ISO27001, and FFIEC.

A professional certification such as CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCSP, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect would be beneficial.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. 7-10 years of experience in Technology Risk, Technology Audit, Application Security, Software/Infrastructure Engineering, or related fields.
  2. Experienced in regulatory technology-related examinations.
  3. Knowledge of technology application and infrastructure components.
  4. Ability to review code and work with various systems development/SDLC tools and processes.
  5. Cloud computing expertise, including Private, AWS, Google, Azure, and Docker.
  6. Linux and Windows operating systems security, configuration, and management experience.
  7. Database design, setup, and administration experience with Sybase, Oracle, or UDB.
  8. Big data systems knowledge, including Hadoop, Snowflake, NoSQL, HBase, HDFS, MapReduce.
  9. Web and Mobile technologies, digital workflow tools, site reliability engineering, and runtime operational tools experience.

You will also need to possess strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage expectations and deliver results.

A BA or BS College Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, and Risk Management would be advantageous.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
