We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Service Technician to join our team at Halfords. As one of the UK's leading retailers of motoring and cycling products and services, we offer great career opportunities and benefits.
About the JobThis role involves carrying out interim, full, and major services, as well as any follow-up repair and replacement work. You will work amongst a team of skilled technicians and fitters, supported by a workshop controller. Your duties will include tasks such as tyre changes, brake repairs, transmission work, steering and suspension component replacements, and air conditioning services.
What We OfferAs a Vehicle Service Technician at Halfords, you can expect a competitive salary of £29,592 - £32,000 per annum, plus an average uncapped bonus of £3,600 per year. In addition, you will receive 5.6 weeks' annual leave, up to 50% off garage bills in our Autocentres, and discounts on various products and services.
Qualifications and ExperienceTo be considered for this role, you must have a Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience. You should also have a full driver's license with no more than 9 points and relevant experience delivering services and repairs.
