Manufacturing Management Executive

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the production process at Helapet Ltd, a leading UK manufacturer and distributor of medical consumables.
Our company is part of Clinimed Holdings Limited, a group of companies with a long history of supporting healthcare provision and quality assurance across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversight of product manufacturing and sourcing costs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordination of delivery schedules with Sales Order Processing and update of stock status logs.
- Management of procurement of manufacturing materials according to the manufacturing plan, current inventory, and customer demand.
- Tracking and expediting of overdue manufacturing orders, communication of potential delays to Sales and Manufacturing teams.
- Production of timely and accurate KPI reports, implementation of corrective actions for identified deficiencies.
- Application of Lean Six Sigma and 5S methodologies to drive continuous process improvements. Maintenance and enhancement of quality systems through internal and external audits ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Adherence to Quality and Regulatory standards, keeping medical device certifications and registrations up-to-date.
- Development and execution of internal audit schedules for ISO certification as needed, auditing key and new suppliers.
- Enforcement of compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and logistics controls.
- Oversight of all logistics functions to ensure accuracy in goods in/out processes and comprehensive stock maintenance, including preservation, expiry management, and disposal proposals.
- Management of resource planning for materials and finished goods focusing on supplier performance and auditing, alternative sourcing, and reorder levels.
- Responsibility for the Helapet Houghton Regis site, prioritizing Health and Safety.
- BTEC HNC/HND or degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Management disciplines.
- Ideal candidate holds IOSH certification in Managing Safety.
- Proven experience in senior-level production management, preferably in medical devices manufacturing.
- Expertise in Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Skilled in performance management, coaching, and mentoring.
- Familiar with Health and Safety regulations and protocols.
- Competent in analyzing and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational abilities.
Estimated Salary: £62,500 - £82,500 per annum, depending on experience.
