AWE is currently recruiting for a Production Quality Engineer to provide local Quality expertise to support internal or external stakeholders within their specific area.

The successful candidate will be part of a cross-functional team to deliver improvement through collaboration on projects and programmes, ensuring Quality is represented at all stages of programme, project, trial, or production, and identify areas of continuous improvement to promote and enhance Quality capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge in Machine Shop manufacturing techniques (Milling / Turning / Additive Manufacturing), either from a recognised apprenticeship or working knowledge is an advantage.
  • Experience reading engineering drawings.
  • Quality Improvement Tools & Techniques (APQP / FMEA / MSA / SPC / 8D / 3 C's / Root Cause Analysis / Cause & Effect / 5 Whys etc).
