About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team at Build A Rocket Boy. This role involves collaborating closely with software engineers to develop robust testing frameworks and automation processes, and with other QA and automation teams across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, Develop, and Maintain Automated Testing Frameworks
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate testing processes into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Work with backend and web development teams to automate and streamline platform operations
  • Help engineering teams conduct load testing to ensure scalability and performance under stress
  • Continuously improve testing strategies and tools to enhance development efficiency and product quality
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a software engineer in test or similar role
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with automated testing of web services, APIs, and backend systems
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices
  • Knowledge of C++ and Unreal Engine is highly desirable
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting and collaborate with various technical teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
