About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Morgan Sindall Property Services. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in the financial control, reporting, and commercial performance management of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the day-to-day financial control, including cash management, invoicing, and payment administration.
  • Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of budgets, forecast management, and financial reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of commercial strategies and initiatives to drive business growth.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor who possesses a good working knowledge and understanding of measurement and valuation. You will have a strong background in commercial management, with a good understanding of budgets, forecast management, and financial reporting.

You will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels. You will also have a good understanding of IT systems and packages, including Microsoft Office and project management tools.
