Strategic Leadership Director

Paradigm Housing Group is seeking a visionary leader to drive the development and implementation of our corporate strategy and key policies. As Assistant Director of Strategy & Policy, you will work closely with our executive team to shape the future of our organisation and guide us through the challenges ahead.
About the Role:
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our corporate strategy and policy initiatives. This includes driving our commitment to becoming a net zero carbon business by 2050, through the creation of detailed and costed plans.
Your leadership will ensure we stay ahead of legal and regulatory changes, translating them into practical and balanced solutions for our business. You'll also provide insight into external factors impacting social housing and work to position Paradigm as a leader in the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute our corporate strategy and policy initiatives.
- Drive our commitment to becoming a net zero carbon business by 2050.
- Anticipate and respond to legal, regulatory, and external changes that impact the housing sector.
- Work with senior leaders to coach, motivate, and inspire teams across the organisation.
- Presentation of insights and proposals to internal and external audiences.
- Collaborate with the executive team to drive new approaches and innovation within the business.
What you'll need to succeed:
- A deep understanding of the social housing sector and the ability to anticipate and respond to external challenges.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to coach, inspire, and engage teams across the organisation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic initiatives, particularly in response to regulatory or market changes.
- A commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, with the ability to drive new approaches and best practices.
