Job Title: Director of Sixth Form Leadership
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Sixth Form Leadership to join our team at Wayman Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our Sixth Form, driving academic excellence, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a high-achieving Sixth Form, driving academic excellence and student progress.
- Develop and maintain an outstanding quality of teaching and learning, ensuring rigorous monitoring and assessment across the English department.
- Take charge of the department, providing CPD, inset training days, supervising NQTs, ITT students, and support staff.
- Lead behavior management in the Sixth Form and department, securing strong routines for learning, consistent with the academy's policy, and liaising with tutors and parents when necessary.
- Develop strong partnerships and ensure regular communication with parents and carers.
