About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at NI Resourcing. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on all onsite equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems, to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Rapidly respond to production breakdowns and diagnose issues to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
  • Project Management: Deliver on maintenance projects, including equipment installation, building fabrication upgrades, and other initiatives to improve facility operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance manager and other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Hands-on Approach: Possess a hands-on approach to maintenance and problem-solving, with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with knowledge of PLCs and other relevant systems.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible in working hours, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Desirable Criteria
  • Electrical Qualifications: Hold 17th edition electrical qualifications or equivalent.
  • Industry Experience: Possess experience working in a food factory or similar industrial environment.
