We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Meallmore's Grove Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their wellbeing and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care and support to residents, adhering to their individual care plans and promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
  • Assist in creating a caring environment, participating in activities and contributing to the overall smooth operation of the home.
  • Work collaboratively with care staff and other teams to ensure the delivery of excellent care and support.
  • Carry out personal care duties, including bathing, dressing, and toileting, with dignity and respect.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Working towards the qualification to meet SSSC registration requirements.
  • SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (as per SSSC guidelines) is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and families.
