Principal Engineer

Location: Flexible working arrangements available across various locations, including BroadOak, Frimley, Filton, Weymouth, and Devonport.
Salary: Up to £61,500 per annum, dependent on experience.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience of Requirements Management to a range of complex sub-systems that will form the combat system of a Submarine.
You will be responsible for managing all safety requirements that filter down from whole boat into combat systems, recording in DOORS, and delivering reports to Senior Engineering Manager.
Liaising with Subsystems, Safety Team, and Suppliers, you will provide specialist support in assisting with Gap Analysis between Formal Safety Requirements and assumptive Safety Requirements placed on suppliers by the Sub-systems teams.
Your Skills and Experience:- Experience using DOORS
- Safety requirements management, with recent experience at managing requirements up and down the V cycle
- Degree or relevant level of experience in requirements management
- Defence contract experience
- Excellent communication and collaborative engagement skills
