Maintenance Engineer Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Shropshire. As a key member of the Maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities through regular maintenance and repairs.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and downtime.
- Providing emergency breakdown cover for any mechanical or electrical issues that arise during working hours.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, including electrical and mechanical schematics, to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
- Programming and maintaining PLCs and other control systems to optimize production efficiency.
- Working closely with the manufacturing team to ensure seamless integration of robotic systems into our production processes.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role or related field.
- Apprentice training or equivalent qualification, preferably in a relevant discipline such as mechanical or electrical engineering.
Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £50,000 per annum.
