Maintenance Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to work with our engineering team at our manufacturing site in Cheltenham.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance of all machinery, electrical equipment, and factory services to a high standard, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
  2. Conduct fault finding and repair of mechanical and electrical/electronic issues on production equipment, including CNC and PLC controlled machinery.
  3. Support the Maintenance Team Leader in planning and implementing preventative maintenance schedules and TPM activities.
  4. Assist with the management of contractors.
  5. Collaborate with the Maintenance Management team to deliver the departmental strategy and associated Key Performance Indicators.
  6. Ensure CMMS data is up to date.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in Maintenance Engineering.
  2. Multiskilled, Mechanical or Electrical Apprenticeship qualified to ONC or equivalent NVQ.
  3. Experience of PLCs, CNC, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Industrial Control.
