Maintenance Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to contribute to the success of our engineering company based in Cheltenham.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance of all machinery, electrical equipment, and factory services to a high standard, adhering to manufacturers' specifications.
  2. Identify and rectify mechanical and electrical/electronic faults on production equipment, including CNC and PLC-controlled machinery.
  3. Collaborate with the Maintenance Team Leader to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and TPM activities.
  4. Support the management of contractors.
  5. Contribute to the Maintenance Management team, delivering the departmental strategy and associated Key Performance Indicators.
  6. Maintain accurate CMMS data.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in Maintenance Engineering.
  2. Multiskilled, Mechanical or Electrical Apprenticeship qualified to ONC or equivalent NVQ.
  3. Experience with PLCs, CNC, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Industrial Control.
