Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - FMCG Industry

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the FMCG industry. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on production equipment
  • Conduct mechanical and electrical inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance tasks to optimize machine reliability and minimize downtime
  • Utilize welding skills to repair or fabricate necessary components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination of maintenance activities
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer within the FMCG industry
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
  • Familiarity with PLC systems
  • Electrical and Mechanical Systems including Invertor Drives, PLC's, PSU's, Conveyors, Multi-head weighers and an understanding of electrical schematics
  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution and control systems, fully conversant reading all engineering drawings both electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
  • Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications are preferred
