About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Site Manager to oversee the delivery of Asset Replacement, Reinforcement & New Connections projects from 33kV up to 132kV that include HV Cabling & Substation schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the implementation of Company Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality policies.
  2. Manage and control site safety and operations, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  3. Verify that personnel under control are trained and competent to perform their duties.
  4. Identify and promote best practices, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
  5. Support incident investigations and ensure all records/registers are kept up to date on a daily basis.
  6. Develop and implement outage and work planning strategies.
  7. Monitor and evaluate the performance of site teams.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience of working on HV substation sites.
  2. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
  3. Civil qualified and capable of carrying out engineering works.
  4. Emergency First Aid certification.
  5. SMSTS qualified with experience of working on CDM sites.
