Job Title: Test Equipment Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Equipment Design Engineer to join our team in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing test equipment solutions for electronic and electro-mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test equipment solutions for electronic and electro-mechanical systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate test equipment into production lines
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for test equipment designs
  • Provide technical support for test equipment installation and commissioning
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of digital and analogue electronics, wiring diagrams, and schedules
  • Good understanding of instrument communication systems, power control, and safety-related circuits
  • Basic understanding of RF measurement techniques and firmware coding
  • Related competence in CAE design tools, negotiation of subsystem requirements, and writing subsystem requirement documents
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
