Test Equipment Design Engineer Opportunity

RGF Staffing UK Limited is seeking a skilled Test Equipment Design Engineer to join our team on an initial 12-month contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing test equipment solutions for electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support in the day-to-day running of test equipment product support activities.
  • Manage technical changes through the engineering change process.
  • Solve complex technical problems using structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Develop and maintain relevant engineering processes and procedures.
  • Work across multiple projects and develop solutions for products at various stages of maturity.
  • Communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
Requirements:
  • Excellent understanding of digital and analogue electronics, wiring diagrams, and Microsoft products.
  • Good understanding of instrument communication systems, power control, and safety-related circuits.
  • Basic understanding of RF measurement techniques and equipment, boundary scan, and firmware coding.
  • Related competence in CAE design tools, negotiation of subsystem requirements, and writing subsystem requirement documents.
  • Experience in designing, integrating, and validating test solutions for electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and systems.
