About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Admin/Accounts Assistant to join our team at a Health and Safety Consultancy in the North East. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Directors, H&S Consultants, and Trainers, as well as handling various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming calls and enquiries to the office
  • Book training sessions on our booking system
  • Generate certificates
  • Prepare training materials and paperwork for our training courses
  • Update large word documents and policies
  • Update information on our website
  • Book appointments and accommodation & travel
  • Prepare the training room
  • Provide administrative support to the team
  • Invoice for works undertaken
  • General accounting duties
Requirements
  • Experience in using Office 365 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Professional in dealing with the public and customer enquiries
  • Some experience with accounts, including raising invoices
  • Experience with Sage Accounting or similar system
