Housekeeping Team Member Job Description

The Hull Humber View Hotel, Signature Collection By Best Western is seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our hotel rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and inviting for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain all guest areas, including guest rooms, public areas, linen rooms, and cupboards, to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that service levels are exceptional and that all guests have a positive experience.
  • Servicing hotel bedrooms and public areas to company standards and within allocated time frames.
  • Report any damages or breakages promptly to ensure repairs are carried out.
  • Return all equipment to their allotted storerooms at the end of each working day and keep storerooms and working areas clean and tidy.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role and a strong attention to detail.
  • Passionate about providing exceptional customer service and taking pride in delivering clean and well-maintained guest rooms and public areas.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to carry out the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods of time, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other departments.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
